My wife and I are evaluating a ground-up build at On Top of the World (OTOW) in Ocala, likely the Ellington floor plan in the newer Balfour section. We are still in the planning stage and would like to better understand how an independent designer can add value beyond OTOW's Design Studio. Our priorities include a corner homesite, 3-car garage, conditioned workshop/man cave, two dedicated home offices, expanded covered lanai, and future birdcage enclosure. We are interested in pre-construction consultation, floor plan review, furniture and space planning, lighting and electrical recommendations, built-ins, storage solutions, and identifying decisions that are best made during construction versus after closing. We expect to visit Ocala in late June/early July and would appreciate learning more about your experience with OTOW homes and the services you provide for clients in the planning phase.
